Dear Fellow-Ambassador,
Here is your semi-annual prospectus!!! Please forgive me for not keeping you informed on a regular basis. I will briefly summarize.
SUMMER RETREATS (January and February)
God worked through each retreat for His honor and glory. Believers took steps of growth and made decisions to increase their service for the Lord. Several campers came to Christ for eternal life. I had the privilege of once again serving as the director for the Family Retreat. What a blessing to see God use His Word in the lives of each family!
BIBLE COLLEGE
Classes began in March, and as the new academic dean my responsibilities have increased. I also teach four courses: Doctrine Survey, Study Methods, Cults and Homiletics. Kandie teaches her Health class to the senior girls. The first semester ends on July 2, and then there are two weeks of module classes.
Please pray for the Bible college as we go through steps of strategic planning. Much wisdom is needed as we plan for the future.
HOME SCHOOLING
The second semester of classes here at home began in March because of our summer retreats. Our children have just wrapped up the school year this week. They will have a few weeks of rest before beginning the next school year in August. We will have a senior (Benjamin), a junior (Rebekah), a freshman (Abigail), and a sixth grader (Jacob). No further comments!!!
HARD DRIVE CRASH!
Don’t you just love those?! Thank goodness for back-ups. I am still trying to get things back to normal here in the office, but praise the Lord that little information was lost.
VICTORY BAPTIST CHURCH
April is Family Month at our church here in Trujillo. It is one of the highlights of the year! God greatly used His Word to work in our family relationships. The focus was on our marriages and family devotions. Many changes were made as we strived to please our heavenly Father. Please pray that these decisions and changes will continue to play out in our daily life.
