Peru, South America
Peru is the third largest country in South America next to Brazil and Argentina. It is twice the size of Texas. Peru's population is over 29 million with about 30% living in Lima, the capital city. Arequipa, in the southern mountains of Peru, is the second largest city of the country. We have the privilege of serving our Lord and Savior in Trujillo which is Peru's third largest city with nearly 700,000 inhabitants.
God has blessed the city of Trujillo by raising up 25 Baptist churches. Jesus Christ continues to build His church around the globe. The Lord of the harvest is doing some amazing things here in the country of Peru. The harvest is plenteous, but laborers are few. Pray with us that God would send more workers into the fields.
